Full membership is restricted to East Midlands NHS/Social Care Services Staff and Students on placement at KGH.

Other local public, government and voluntary sectors who have a non-profit making health/social care interest may apply in writing to the Knowledge & Library Services Manager, Margaret Theaker –

Members of the general public can access the library free of charge on a ‘reference only’ basis.  Please sign in at the library enquiry desk.

Full Membership of the library allows you to borrow library materials, use our IT suites and request books, articles, information and training.

How do I join and what do I need to bring with me?

NHS staff may call in to the KGH Library to join. Our membership form and details on what you need to bring with you is available on our ‘Join the Library‘ page.



Library opening hours?

Monday – Friday    09:00 – 16:45     24/7 library access available (upon application only)

Please note that we are closed on official bank holidays
