KnowledgeShare is a service we subscribe to. Created by Brighton and Sussex NHS Library, it is a personalised targeted current awareness/alerting service.
The system takes the profile settings for each registered member (we ask you to complete a registration form detailing your interests) and matches them to the profile settings applied to high-level evidence and practice changing documents, guidelines, policies etc. The results are emailed to registered members fortnightly (the frequency can be amended to suit).
The registration form is available electronically at: https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/L7Y85WC or please ask for a paper version at the library enquiry desk. It requests that you detail your work and contact data and then list the information you would like the system to keep you updated about.
Examples of interests etc. to include: –
| ‘Conditions/Risk factors’ | Myocardial Infarction; Sepsis; Long Term Conditions (or be specific and enter – Anxiety disorders; COPD; Dementia etc.); Breast Diseases; Respiratory Tract Diseases |
| ‘Professional Interests’ | Education & Professional Practice (i.e. Professional & Postgraduate Education; Simulation); Quality, Safety & Risk (i.e. Risk Management; Patient Safety); Service Design & Commissioning; |
